Framework Appendices
With input from appropriate program departments, teachers in the field, and Peer Observers, a series of Framework Appendices have been developed as tools for observers.
The Appendices are NOT intended to be a separate Framework, but rather as clarifying documents that can assist in providing a high-level awareness for observation and the most meaningful feedback to teachers. Also, the Appendices aren’t meant to say that classrooms must have the bullets listed. Rather, they are giving observers an idea on what the Indicators “could” look like in these types of classrooms.
They will provide a unique lens to consider in certain instructional situations, content areas and/or grade levels while maintaining the high expectations for teachers as outlined in the Framework for Effective Teaching.
